Now to today’s news!

 

Just some rumour really, but Ipswich are reportedly close to signing Colin Healy (of Cork City) and Shane O’Connor (currently of Liverpool).

 

If they make the move, both men will join the growing Irish contingent at Ipswich.

 

Strikers Pablo Counago and Kevin Lisbie have been linked to moves away form Portman Road.

 

Manager Roy Keane has said that he has accepted a bid for an unnamed striker from an unnamed club.

 

Personally, I hope (if he must sell one of them) he is selling Mr Lisbie, he may have been good enough for Charlton but I can’t say he has been anything near adequate for Ipswich.
